• Query data: the search terms you enter (e.g., a bank name, city, country, or specific Bank Code) and associated filters or parameters.
• Log and device data: IP address (which may be truncated or hashed where feasible), user agent, browser type, language, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, and request identifiers for security, abuse prevention, and analytics.
• Cookies and similar technologies: functional cookies for essential site operations (e.g., rate limiting, session-less preferences) and, if enabled, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage non-essential cookies in your browser settings or via any site-provided cookie controls.
• Approximate location: derived from IP for fraud and abuse detection, localization, and aggregate analytics. We do not use precise GPS location.

BankCode.io provides informational lookups of public or industry Bank Codes. We do not request or store bank account numbers, card numbers, or online banking credentials through the Service. Please do not submit such sensitive information to us.
